Privacy
The short version: this site stores your email address, the name you gave it, and your exam results. Nothing is sold, shared or used for advertising, and you can delete all of it yourself at any time.
What is stored
- Your email address — to identify your account and to send confirmation and password-reset emails. Nothing else is ever sent to it.
- The name you entered (or the one Google gave us) — so the site can say hello. It is not shown to other users.
- Your exam history — which questions you were asked, what you answered, and when. This is what makes the statistics and the focus exam work.
- A session record when you sign in — your IP address and browser user-agent, kept so sessions can be expired and abuse can be rate-limited.
What is not stored
No payment details, because nothing is charged. No advertising or analytics trackers of any kind. Passwords are stored only as an argon2id hash, which cannot be reversed back into your password.
Who else sees it
- Cloudflare sits in front of the site and handles the connection and the Google sign-in flow.
- Resend delivers the confirmation and password-reset emails, and therefore sees your email address.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google, in which case they tell us your email address and name.
Nobody else. Your data is not sold, shared or given to advertisers.
How long it is kept
For as long as your account exists. Sign-in sessions expire after 30 days of inactivity, and 90 days at the outside.
Deleting it
Go to your account page and delete your account. This is immediate and total — the account, every exam attempt, every answer and every session record are removed from the database. There is no soft-delete and no recovery, so be sure.
Access to the site
Access is at my discretion, and accounts can be refused or withdrawn. There is no entitlement to an account on a free site run as a hobby.
Contact
For anything about your data, use the contact details on the sign-in page, or simply delete your account — you do not need to ask permission to do that.
